The Return

Well, Glastonbury was everything I hoped for, as always. I have no energy. None at all.

I saw loads of bands, drank way to much alcohol, ate too much food (mainly noodles and tempura - the best festival food in the world), walked and danced for miles, slept too little and knitted some.

Some highlights of the weekend were:

Sing-a-long-a AC/DC courtesy of the guys camping near to us
The Blockheads with Phil Jupiter
Glasvegas
Jim Bob (of Carter USM fame)
Reverend and the Makers
Alabama 3
Seasick Steve
Handsom Family

and, of course, the totally fabulous and awesome

Mr Leonard Cohen.

The other bands we saw were also excellent and a full listing will follow. I am going to load up all the photos onto Flickr shortly. Please don't expect great shots of any of the bands as my camera doesn't have a massive zoom lens.

For now, I have to finish unpacking and I shall do some therapeutic knitting. If I can stay awake!

It would have been worth it just to see Leonard Cohen, but Seasick Steve and Alabama 3 too....great.

Been watching Nick Cave all night?
